Create your indoor oasis

As summer is winding down, I wanted to share a fun flat-lay design concept with you. If you're not familiar with the term, in simplest terms a flat-lay is simply a photograph of a collection of materials that look good together. Now this doesn't mean that you'd use all of the items pictured in your finished space, but they're a great exercise for finding colors, patterns, textures on a scale that work well together.

Plus they make very compelling visual content for platforms like Instagram.

So the other day I put this one together, and unlike a traditional flat-lay, this one is 100% digital. Each of these items has been rendered by a computer, and then I assembled them to create the image you see here.
