Organized = Simpler = Faster

As someone who works out of my own home (when I'm not in a client's home) a well organized space is extremely important. I've been living in my current home for less than a year and I haven't yet finished my own personal workspace. I have the plan and the materials bought, but I haven't yet had the time (or good weather) to get my lumber cut and get this project done.

In the meantime I am obsessed with getting everything else organized and simplified, because when things are easier to do, you have more time in your day. Here is my current wishlist, and maybe it can help you too.

This vented laptop stand not only lifts your laptop up to an easier to work level, but also keeps it from overheating... my hubby tells me that heat is bad for laptops.

This rolling storage cart is perfect for small spaces that have to be multi-function. Keep all your office supplies in here and tuck it into a closet or underneath a tall dining table when you're not using it. It's also great for kid's craft supplies.

Save time by not dirtying your stovetop or microwave ('cause no one wants to spend more time cleaning the kitchen than cooking in the kitchen). These food-grade silicon lids make pot overflows a thing of the past. They also work as splashguards in the microwave.

Sometimes it takes trial and error to find a planner that works for you, but this small compact planner not only keeps your days in order, but helps you track your goals. Also, it's small size makes it ideal for carrying with you - and as we all know, a planner doesn't do any good if you don't have it handy when you need it.

Any woman who switches purses depending on the activity or her outfit knows the hassle of moving all your important stuff from one bag to the other. This insert allows you do move most of it in one simple step. Even if you're not switching bags, this insert allows you to find things in your bag with ease. I am a creature of habit and I love knowing that my chapstick is always in the front right pocket.

Buy these for yourself and for your kiddos to make getting out the door in the morning take a few minutes less... as long as everyone can find their shoes of course.

Sometimes just having a designated spot for everything can make rushing out the door just a little easier. Having a whiteboard for notes, and a spot for mail makes this keychain holder the perfect thing to hang by your door.

These slim velvet hangers not only give you more space in your closet because they take up less space than those cheapo plastic hangers. They also make it look more uniform, and they're sturdier. Add the clips to hang skirts or pants.

So there you go - 8+ inexpensive products that can help you gain back a little more time in your day.
